A Christmas Message of Gratitude to Our Community


​Christmas is a season of reflection, generosity, and love. This year, we are deeply grateful for the community that stood with us and made that spirit real for the children we serve.


Because of your support, children in our programs were able to experience the joy of Christmas in meaningful ways. Your generosity helped provide meals, gifts, and moments of happiness that reminded them they are not forgotten. For many of these children, those moments mattered more than words can fully capture.


At Rays of Resilience International Ministries, our mission has always been rooted in faith, compassion, and action. But a mission like this is never carried out alone. It is carried by people who choose to care, to give, and to show up for others even when they may never meet them.


This Christmas was a reflection of what community truly means. It was love turned into action. It was hope made visible. And it was a reminder that when people come together with purpose, lives are changed.

A Little Boy Named Joel: A Story of Pain, Hope, and the Power of Compassion

​ There are moments in this work where everything slows down. Moments where a child looks at you, not with fear, not with anger, but with a quiet kind of hope that cuts through every distraction life throws at us. Joel is one of those moments. Joel is only seven years old. He should be kicking a ball around, laughing with friends, chasing sunlight the way kids do. Instead, he wakes up every day fighting pain most adults could barely tolerate. A painful hernia has taken over his small body, making simple things like walking, bending, or even breathing deeply a struggle. For Joel’s family, the weight of his condition is heavy.
