Abu’s Story — A Light of Hope in Uganda

Every child deserves care, love, and a chance to live free from pain. For Abu, a child with special needs in rural Uganda, that chance came through the compassion of people who believe in faith put into action.

Abu lives under the care of Godlights Vision Ministry (GOVIM), one of the trusted partners of Rays of Resilience International Ministries. When he first arrived, Abu faced challenges that no child should endure — hunger, limited access to medical care, and the uncertainty of what tomorrow might bring. Yet even through hardship, his smile never faded. His strength spoke louder than his circumstances.

The Mission of Love

At Rays of Resilience and Godlights Vision Ministry, we believe no child should be left behind — especially those with special needs. Our mission is to provide medical care, education, food, and emotional support to children like Abu who need constant attention and compassion.

Abu’s caregivers work tirelessly every day to provide him with nourishment, comfort, and therapy. But his medical needs remain ongoing — treatments, medications, and specialized care are costly and critical.
